Media2Excel processes supported PDFs and images locally on your Windows device for conversion.
Your source documents are not sent to SoftCodeX servers simply because you convert them with Media2Excel.

01 · Organisation
SoftCodeX LTD is a private limited company registered in England and Wales.
Where applicable under data-protection law, SoftCodeX LTD acts as the data controller for personal information it collects and processes directly.
02 · Media2Excel
Media2Excel is designed to perform document conversion locally on the Windows device running the application. Your source PDFs and images do not need to be uploaded to SoftCodeX for conversion.
When you select a supported PDF or image in Media2Excel, the application accesses that file only to perform the conversion you request.
Files you choose to process may contain personal, confidential, financial, business or otherwise sensitive information. Media2Excel accesses the selected file only for the purpose of performing the conversion requested by you.
Converted Excel workbooks are stored in the folder selected by you. SoftCodeX does not control what happens to files after they are saved.
If you save an output file inside a folder synchronised by OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive or another cloud provider, that provider may process the file according to its own privacy policy.
Media2Excel may store application preferences locally on your device, including:
Media2Excel may connect to the internet to check whether a newer supported version of the application is available. Ordinary technical information required for an internet connection, such as an IP address, may therefore be visible to the infrastructure providing the update information.
Your source PDFs, images, extracted tables and generated Excel workbooks are not transmitted as part of an update check.

If you purchase a SoftCodeX service or software product through payment functionality we make available, we may process information associated with that transaction.
Payments may be handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal. SoftCodeX does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers on its own servers.

07 · Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information under our control.
No internet-connected system or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
